In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled a series of intense Russian assaults aimed at seizing control of key settlements and advancing toward the city of Lyman, a vital logistics hub known as "The Gates of Donbas." Russian forces, reinforced by additional troops and mechanized units, attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses by launching direct attacks on the Ukrainian-controlled settlements of Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske.
