Ukrainian forces have recently launched successful counterattacks in the Kharkiv region, reclaiming strategic heights and pushing Russian troops out of key positions. Russian forces, struggling with depleted reinforcements and ammunition, attempted to hold defensive lines under heavy Ukrainian drone and artillery attacks. Using tactical heights around Lyptsi and Neskuchne, Ukrainians maintained fire control over lowland Russian positions, which suffered from inadequate supply routes and limited cover. Ukrainian elite drone units, such as Madyar’s Birds, further demoralized Russian troops, leading to unauthorized retreats in some areas.
